Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device and our service providers, and, where appropriate, from professional contacts or publicly available sources.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries; evaluate and provide legal services; communicate with you; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website; maintain business records; prevent fraud or misuse; comply with law and professional obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

3. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to vendors providing hosting, email, security, IT, records-management, and professional services; to advisers and insurers; when directed or authorized by you; when required by law, court order, or professional obligation; or in a business reorganization, subject to appropriate protections. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so during the preceding 12 months.

4. Cookies, analytics, and preference signals

This version of the website does not use advertising cookies or behavioral-advertising tools. Hosting and security providers may use essential technologies and server logs to deliver and protect the site. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, we do not currently provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” link. We do not track visitors across unaffiliated websites. A browser “Do Not Track” signal does not alter this site’s operation; where legally required, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals for activities to which they apply.

5. Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, ethical, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, receive information about disclosures, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, and receive equal service without retaliation. RAA does not currently believe it meets the statutory thresholds that generally define a “business” subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”). If the CCPA or another privacy law applies to a request, we will process it as required.

To make a request, email richard@humancounsel.ai with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request with appropriate proof of authorization. We will use request information only to verify and respond.

7. Children and external links

This website is intended for business audiences and not for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site. Third-party links are governed by those services’ privacy practices.

8. Changes

We may update this policy periodically. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. We review this policy at least annually and will provide additional notice where required.
